H. L. Rick Milne, III, M. D.

Dr. Rick Milne is the Medical Director for The Eye Center, PA. He is a board certified ophthalmologist and corneal surgeon specializing in Refractive Surgery--CK, PRELEX, LASIK, LASEK, PRK; as well as Corneal Transplant and Cataract Surgery.

Dr. Milne graduated with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston in 1980; served his medical internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio and was board certified in ophthalmology in 1986. He has served as Chief of the EENT Clinic at Fort Jackson; Chief of Ophthalmolgy at Providence Hospital; and Medical Director of the Providence Hospital Surgery Center.

As a mentor for VISX (manufacturer of the Excimer Star S4 Laser), Dr. Milne has proctored many surgeons in the Columbia area, sharing his expertise with his peers. Most recently, Dr. Milne was selected by Refractec as one of 30 ophthalmologists in the nation to introduce the latest FDA approved technology for the treatment of farsightedness--CK or Conductive Keratoplasty.

R. Brian Huff, M. D.

Dr. Brian Huff joined The Eye Center in 1996. He received his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, completed his medical training at the LSU School of Medicine and his residency at Oschner Clinic in New Orleans.

Dr. Huff is a board certified ophthalmologist and corneal surgeon specializing in refractive surgery--including CK, LASIK, LASEK, PRK; cataract surgery, other types of laser eye surgery, as well as the treatment of glaucoma, and other eye diseases.

Matthew T. Clary, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Clary is a board-certified ophthalmologist who joined The Eye Center staff in 2008. He is currently performing cataract surgery, refractive surgery (AST, PRK, PTK, and CK), treating general ophthalmology patients (including retina and glaucoma evaluations), performing healthy eye exams, and treating eye emergencies.

Dr. Clary completed his ophthalmology residency at Texas A&M University/Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. He graduated with the highest number of cataract surgeries ever performed by a resident in the program’s history. Dr. Clary graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2004. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina Honors College, graduating with honors, in 2000. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in 1999. Dr. Clary is from the Columbia area and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1996.
